Diagnostics Product for Typhoid Fever

We produce two types of diagnostic test kits for Typhoid Fever - Dot EIA platform for use as confirmatory test and Immunochromatographic Assay for rapid screening.

Typhidot Test Kits
Typhidot is a revolutionary methods of diagnosis invented in Malaysia. It uses a more sensitive Enzyme Immunoblot Assay for the detection of human IgG and IgM antibodies against a specific 50kDa antigen on the outer membrane of S. typhi. Typhidot has been evaluated at many endemic areas including Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Philippines.

Typhidot Rapid Test Kits
Both Typhidot Rapid IgM and Typhidot Rapid IgG/IgM (Combo) use a faster Immunochromatography Assay for the qualitative detection and differenciation of specific human IgM or IgG/ IgM antibodies against specific S. typhi antigen.
