Kuching, SARAWAK, 19 Dec 2024 – Reszon Diagnostics International Sdn Bhd (“Reszon”), a dedicated manufacturer of IVD rapid test kits for tropical infectious diseases, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with the Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre (“SIDC”). The formal exchange of memorandum took place in SIDC office located in Sarawak.
This strategic partnership aims to advance research and technology to address public health challenges in the fight against infectious diseases, enhance diagnostic capabilities and foster the commercial development of rapid diagnostic solutions.

- Enhancing diagnostic capabilities to support public health initiatives
- Advancing disease surveillance through innovative technologies
- Driving innovation in diagnostic solutions through the commercialization of rapid test kits developed with novel biomarkers
Site Tour of SIDC’s New Facility
The event was accompanied by a tour of SIDC’s newly developed facility – a hub of innovation, research and therapeutic development. The facility, which is set to become a key hub for research and management centre in infectious diseases, diagnostic kit development, talent development and pandemic preparedness, underscores SIDC’s commitment to building Sarawak’s capabilities in these critical fields.
